A fast tale of action and romance in the old westThis is a page-turner depicting the battle between the sexes as the main characters take on an impossible task going up against killers and rapists. One of the best Westerns to hit the stands in a while.

Iron Will: The Heart and Soul of the Triathlon's Ultimate Challenge

Awesome InspirationI loved the first edition because it mentioned one of the early competitors training for the iron man while living out his van and training himself and others at a health club. This was an inspiratiion to me as an ex-marine/student who lived in his van while attending college and working out/showering in the gym.
My motivation to write this review on an out of print book, was because I would be the first to review it, but I have always referred to the author when people questioned my ability to thrive on a van-lifestyle. My goal was to buy a house by paying for it in cash, but my life has taken a different turn. In any event I am almost 40 years old, in great shape, and have only paid rent for six months in my life.
Thanks Mike Plant for the inspiration.

Iron Wok Jan
Published in Paperback by ComicsOne Corporation (October, 2002)

Expertly served up, with lots of hamThis is volume one of the "Iron Wok Jan" series- new volumes are coming out on a monthly basis. It's a bit shy of 200 pages, b&w, in the original Japanese format (that is, backwards). This volume introduces us to cocky young chef Jan, who cooks only to defeat his opponents! If this sounds over the top, it assuredly is- but you'll be caught up in the high melodrama and the bizarre recipes. Now that Food Network is out of new episodes of "Iron Chef," there's no better place to get that "they're eating what?!" thrill.

Iron Wolf

Great folktales for every audienceRichard Adams presents folk tales to the reader in a clever way.
Ths book is hard to find in good condition, but if you can get a hold of one, I highly recommend purchasing it!
It is called 'The Unbroken Web and 'The Iron Wolf and other stories'. I am a fan of Richard Adam's work, and so I treasure this book like I do all of his.
The illustrations are unique and wonderful. The introduction is beautiful and changes the way I percieve stories. The first story 'Cat in the Sea' is great! It explains why cats hate water.

Iron Woman

Modern American poetry at its finest...If you are like me, you are bored with the modern American poetry scene (save for a handful of fine writers). Might I suggest Native American poetry? Native American authors are publishing some of the finest poetry I have ever read - it is very real, it shakes you to the bone! In "Iron Woman", Diane lets us in to feel the unique emotions, see the unusual visions of a mixed-blood life. I'm only sorry such authors do not receive the recognition they deserve. Excellent poetry!

A must read! This is a very cool, hot! book!
In short then this is THE book for the enthusiast of Brunel, of early transatlantic steamships and Victorian engineering in general.
I hope that the book, and the restored ship will bring many other people the happiness they have brought to me.
